Cannabis Jar is a pioneer in cannabis culture across the prairies, bringing it to the forefront with class, quality, and dedication. With deep roots in farms of Manitoba, they bring the benefits of hard work and healthy living to an industry that allows them to help people in a natural way. One of the biggest challenges of this project was to create an approachable experience that would appeal to a wide demographic—from medicinal users to recreational consumers. The goal was to not only launch the brand but to educate consumers on the rapidly emerging industry. The solution was an eCommerce website allowing consumers to order products from the comfort of their own home, as well as learn about Cannabis Jar and what sets them apart from the rest.

Keeping it scaleable

With three main pillars of their brand being education, quality products, and helping the community. It was important to provide the tools to build upon these pillars over time. Shopify was used to allow for a functional and scalable e-commerce platform. Knowing well that when cannabis was legalized in Winnipeg the website would need to provide the ability to introduce a wide variety of new products, categories, and an even more robust search.
